Configuring your favorite network in nigeria, will allow you to connect to an internet easily, in contrary, any failure to do this will lead to inconveniency for you to connect to the internet.
In short! after you have got your modem unlocked.You will need to create a profile for each of the following networks in order to be connected easily.
This tutorials will surely help you get started.just stay with me o k.Moreover i have got many requests from my readers on how to configure all this networks but I am unable to grant all their requests due to my travelling to the easthern part of nigeria for my examination process. Now I am back to give answers to all of my requests.Meanwhile you can also use this about to explain information to configure your mobile phone easily and it is not just applicable to internet modems.
Here I will be explaining each network's configuration to you.
MANUAL INTERNET PROFILE CONFIGURATION FOR AIRTEL

Now after you have configure your modem software with the above configuration you can connect to internet and enjoy surffing the net.
Also, you will need to create a dial up connection on your computer. And below are the steps to follow. let's start. I will use (window xp and glo network for example).
after turning on your pc (personal computer). Click start menu then click control panel -network and internet connections icon - then choose network connections but if the control panel is in the "classic view" Double click the network connections icon then click file menu and choose create new connection to start new connection wizard, then hit next on the first screen, select connect to internet and click next.then select set up my connection manually and hit next, select connect using a dial-up modem then click next. in the ISP name field, enter glo nigeria as the name for your connection, click next. then enter *99# into the phone number field, click next then in the username field,enter web and enter web in the password box, in the confirm password field re enter web, then you can uncheck the checked box which says use this account and password when someone connects to internet through this computer or you can leave it as the way it is and then leave the box which says make this the default internet connection and click next, now you can check the box that say add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop and finally click finish in order to create the connection and close the wizard. ENJOY!

Thanks for the sharing..It was very useful.I too agree that after unlocking only a user can change networks;otherwise the locked network modem only works with the network that it is entitled too....I unlocked my Huawei modem through the unlock code from Unlock-zone.com and now free to swap networks.
