1 You will need to firstly subscribe to glo BIS with your current or new glo sim by texting COMONTH to 777 for just N1400 per month or COWEEK to 777 for N400 per week.
Now after you have received the confirmation message.
2 Then go to your nokia menu-settings-configuration then select personal settings and then click on option select add new then choose access point.
3 You will then go to Account name and Access point settings.
4 Enter GLO BIS or may be GLO NIGERIA as the account name.
5 Now select access point settings then Bearer settings.
You will then see a list of settings which you can change. Just edit them as listed below:
Password:leave blank
Network type:ipv4
Once you've done, pls select back for 3 times, you will then see the new APN you just created in a list under the personal account icon G
ACCESS POINT ACTIVATION
From menu-settings-connectivity-packetdata. You will then see packet data connection and packet data settings. Set the packet data connection to always online select packet data settings. Then you will see active access point and Edit active access point, Then select active access point And you should see a list of ACCESS POINTS then select the one you created above {which is named as GLO BIS or GLO NIGERIA}and then select activate.
WEB SETTING CONFIGURATION
From menu-settings-configuration:
Scroll down to personal settings then select it, then click on option click add new choose web You will then see a list of settings which you can change. Edit them like below:
Account name: GLO BIS or anything.
User name : leave blanc
Password : leave blanc
Use preffered access point: yes
Home page : http://www.gloworld.com {you can put any web or wap url address}.
When you are done pls select back You will then see the new web settings you created in a list under personal accounts with a ball as an icon. The next things is to highlight the web settings. Select option and select Activate.
PHONE CONFIGURATION
From menu-settings-configuration. You will see Default configuration settings, default in all application app, Preffered access point and personal settings. Just edit them as below:
From menu-internet and scroll down to web settings and select it. Then scroll down to configuration settings and select it You will then see configuration and account select configuration and choose personal configuration from the list. Mind you your phone browser will use that personal configuration you created manually. ENJOY.
